Sony was found in 1946 by Masaru Ibuka and Akio Morita who they are Japanese. There headquartered in Minato, Tokyo, Japan. They and their teamwork set up Tokyo Telecommunications Research Institute to research and develop produce that is it today.

VAIO can be more than a notebook with design that is outstanding and different from other brands. Not only feature but also colorfulness are several for every lifestyles or luxuries to be believable for businessman. A particular purpose of each VAIO’s design is excellently using in a beautiful feature that means it must be an attractive image whereas it can respond with an excellent performance.

Promotion is the communicated process to the market between buyer, seller, retailer or others. Giving the information such as persuasion is recognized about brand and product well. Promotion is very influence to change the attitude, belief, feeling and target market’s behavior. According to Sony VAIO gives importance to communicate of its promotion, VAIO is a brand that is successful in term of promotion because it chooses the right key promotion strategy. Reflection
I would like to talk about my reflection to reflect my feeling especially the benefits for doing this final project.
The final project has many benefits for me. First, learning the element of business makes me to understand more and more especially Sony VAIO. I learn its key success that I’ m very impressive in the intelligent technology. All the time of research, I know the potential of Japanese, the procedure of manufacturing, and the marketing strategy. That information attracts me to interest Sony VAIO than other brand. Second, learning by my self is the best way to improve my knowledge. I try to research Sony VAIO information in many website such Sony, BrandAge, and Makerteer. I read a lot of information both English and Thai. I learn to find the key word and rewrite it with own word and I prentice analysis the marketing information that is very challenge in term of marketing knowledge. Last, learning the new thing has the new knowledge. I learn to use the blog that is the new thing. I unusually use internet but I never use blog. In the first, I’m very worry to use blog but I spend much time for doing it such as post messages, pictures, and videos. I learn it without asking my friends. Now, I think creating blog is very easy. This course introduces using blog that is the favorite media on the Internet.
In conclusion, I believe this final project is the grate value for me and other classmates especially we have learned to read and write English in term of business. Besides, this course emphasizes learning by ourselves that is better than absorb only classroom.

Rationale
The revolution of technology is interesting for the human living. The technology goods are famous in every country in the world. I think about Sony brand which is the highest famous quality and popularity brand. Nevertheless, if I choose to research Sony brand, I will be complicated because there are many product lines of this brand. Then, I choose VAIO brand which is sub-produce. It is my favorite laptop which I wish for possession. Besides, it is unique to differ with other brand especially produce and promotion. That is the main reason for me to choose this brand.


The first reason is the unique produce of VAIO brand. VAIO is known well for the global brand. I believe nobodies whom didn’t know Sony VAIO. It is the leader of laptop brand and the highest technology. The differentiation from the completion is unique that is outstanding such as the modern design. In addition, I think the quality and innovation are the key to success which is important thing to make me interest. To research in other reasons that why it is the favorite brand especially the young.
The second reason is the unique promotion. I usually watch Sony advertisement on TV. This is way that I know it. I think that every advertisement is interesting. This brand is impressed me which have the good in communication. When I watch it on TV especially VAIO advertisement it is very attractive. Besides, image of brand looks very modern to emphasis the lifestyle. VAIO is a laptops brand which is the unique promotion.
VAIO is brand which I like. I determine this brand base on the basic unique of produce and promotion that someone knows well. Moreover, I think about the global brand which there is lot information to support my research.

Journal Week 1
For first day in English for International Business class was very impressive for me because my teacher was so smart and attentive. I felt good with ajarngob’s teaching style that was enjoyed, excited, and challenged. That day wasn’t my surveyed class because I chose to study in this class very much. I have thought I can adapt and enhance my background knowledge in IBM subject. Now, I expect that is my interested class in last term.
Introduction to content was good you made me to understand concept of English language in term of business. English is important to run in business but it isn’t only international language. There is other language that is high power like as English. At the same day, I was known the concept of a new word “Englishes” which there are more the English style in other place. In addition, stimulated my idea in business word it made me to use my brain thinking more and more. Next day, it was good activities in group we learned to know function of brand name product. It have very influent for consumers and me.
Journal Week 2
This week is very serious for me. Wake up! I must walk up from day dream because there are a final project. That is coming in class of ENG-380
For second week, I think I have the problem about listening comprehension. I listen video of Vitoria’ Secret. I understand more than 50% but it have motion, if it doesn’t have motion more than 50% I doesn’t understand too. I think, it is good way to improve my listening which I can improve more and more.
In work group, I think it is good activity because we join to analysis that topic. That class l learns the concept of business. What is business? In my opinion business is exchanging good or service for customer to get money which is some idea. In the fact that, there are many activities that occurs in business such production, distribution, sale of good, and services .finally, every companies want to get high profit from those activities.
I feel happy with a lot of activities in this class which I can synthesis knowledge with my group working.
Journal Week 3
OMG! Confused between ENG-380 and ENG-480 was a bit much. I think my teacher same to me for someday. For example, I usually took a lecture book out but it miss out because of ENG-480’s lecture book. This semester has studied only two subjects and the same teacher that I confuse about homework in every week.
This week of midterm exam I have began to search the brand that I interest. Then, I determine to choose Sony VAIO brand. I plan to manage my final project. Firstly, the rational filtration of the brand and writing company background must finish in this week. Secondly, planning to write and analysis the components of product strategy are branding, positioning, target market, product lines etc. Next, promotion strategy such as push-pull strategy, advertisement campaign, marketing campaign, etc will finish within next month. Fourthly, if there is the information about price and place that I have the time, I will increase it in my blog.
Journal Week 4
The promotional strategy has two different strategies that are push and pull. I still recognize in inter-marketing class when teacher taught giving a sample such Sony that it use pull obviously. Exactly, she told such Panasonic and others that it used push strategy by seller. It was the sample to record reaching now.
Pull is the promotional strategy that attracts consumers on advertising to buy or demand for their product. Consumers receive directly information on advertising which is media between consumer and product. Advertising convinces the target consumer to try, purchase, and ultimately repurchase the product. Consumers will buy product without suggestion of seller.
Push is the promotional strategy that is used for creating consumer to demand the product by trade promotion activities. It is achieved by offering inducements such as providing advertising to help the retailer sell the product. Seller will persuade consumers by information or discount. It is a good way if a consumer doesn’t have brand loyalty for planning to buy.
Advertising strategy
Target consumer is setting group of people. The product is produced which available for their target consume. Who will buy or decide the product such as children, teenage, and adult are influenced to product. There are three criteria that are demographics, behaviors, needs and desires.
The product concept or positioning statement is represented the value to positioned in the market. The product emphasizes to identify such as sexy or quality.
The communication media is the tool to transmitted message to the consumers. It can persuade if an advertiser use message to appropriate with media using. The types are print, audio, video, web, and outdoor advertising.
